About Us
After three decades in banking talking to thousands of business owners, I observed that business owners were too busy working in the business, they didn’t take time to work on the business. It broke my heart to see business owners year after year underperform in their businesses, missing out on great opportunities to increase profitability and cash flow. Further, most business owners never took finance and accounting in school and there’s no on the job training when you’re the CEO. If the language of business is accounting, most business owners I observed didn’t even speak the language or if they did, not fluently. They were powerless to make decisions because no one was there to interpret.
WHAT I DO: I started the Profitability Coach with a passion to make business owners better financial managers. Every business owner wants to increase profitability and cash flow. However, without education in principles of accounting and finance and financial analysis, they don’t know where to start or what to do. Without it, the business owner will be confused and frustrated. Every business can have financial clarity with the right information and advice.
HOW I DO IT: I do this by incorporating an array of business strategies. Profit is a number. But, Profitability is a direction. The profitability of a business increases or decreases due to 5 things: people, process, strategy, execution and cash. We coach business owners how to make gradual continuous improvement in these 5 areas.
